Hackster Brand and Illustration System
As our Creative Director, I developed a new brand & illustration style and framework for Hackster.io. The system is built on a philosophy of "Dream Big, Draw Big, Design Smart". We wanted to create illustrations that help immerse our users in a world of innovation and wonder, but at the same time we wanted the use of technologies to be grounded in some reality.
Sketch System
I organized our library in Sketch since this is the primary design tool we used, and provided guidelines for our designers as well as outside contractors when needed. The library is composed of components that can be fit together quickly and easily to create unique illustrations in minutes.
